8 Today Layout

This photo was taken on Charli's 8th Birthday at Red Cafe.

Lots of layers here, Gyprock tape, embossing and I used a Kaisercraft die to make the flowers. Once again I used Glimmermist to colour the book pages used in the layering.

Mothers Day 2014 Layout

A quick post today to share this layout I have just completed. I saw a pin on Pinterest and just loved it so I have not strayed far from the original design. The original had 3 photos but I have used 6 and cut down on the embellishments.

Once again using photos from Mothers Day 2014.

I have used Modelling Paste which dries white and also Impasto Paste which dries clear through a brick stencil on the background, also splattered some Black Magic Glimmermist around.

Three Generations Layout

We have been house-sitting for 6 days on a 44 acre property halfway between Penwortham and Watervale for six days recently. It was very pleasant and relaxing. I had time to do two layouts that I am going to share with you here.

The photo on this layout was taken on Mother's Day 2014.

I have used Texture paste coloured with Glimmermist through a stencil, a couple of Glimmermist sprays and a couple of stamps for the background interest. I bought some Calico flags from Cheap As Chips and sprayed them with the same two Glimmermist before threading them on some sting and attaching them with brads. The paper pennants are stitched on by hand using embroidery floss.

This layout has been accepted for publication in Scrapbooking Memories so the photo has been removed temporarily. It will be re-posted one month after the magazine has been published. Hope you will call back then and have a look
