 Good morning

I have a project to share with you today that I saw 

Cori Dahmon create on her YT channel called Creating with Scraps

This is to go into the Daisy journal I am creating for my grand-daughter, showcasing her 2023 year.

I have used the Simple Daisies digital kit from SunflowersAndDors

Mine did not work out exactly like Cori's but it is a great addition to 

my journal as it is.

In the video I do show how both versions are created so pop over and check it out.

Flipout Pocket and Tag

I have created a cute flip out double pocket with a tag and a journaling card for my current journal.

I am using papers from Denise Boddey Design's Elegance collection for this project

Daisy Journal - Pages 1 to 3

 Hello, hello

I have a couple of pages from my Daisy Journal to share with you today.

They are simple pocket pages with an envelope to hold 

photos.

Sari silk, cheesecloth, handmade flowers and chipboard are used to decorate these pages.

Compliling and Constructing Denise Boddey Journal

 Good afternoon

I want to share the compilation and construction of my new journal.

I am using papers from Denise Boddey Designs

I have created two signatures and used a three hole pamphlet stitch

to bind my signatures in.

I have alternated the patterned papers with a green/grey plain paper.

I used a stencil and Bundled Sage Distress Ink to add a little detail

to the plain pages.

No sew fabric binding for Daisy journal

 Good morning

I have tried a new style of binding for this journal.

I saw this binding in a video by Treasure Books.

It is called tab binding and can be done with fabric, paper, lace, 

anything really that will be sturdy enough to withstand the opening of the pages.

I have chosen to use an upholstery fabric sample for my journal.

One of the advantages of this type of binding is that the book sits completely flat when it is open.

Hydrangea Card for Denise Boddey Designs

 Good morning

I have created this beautiful Hydrangea card using papers from 

Denise Boddey Designs, in particular her Enchantment paper collection

I have also used a great stamp and die set called Build a Hydrangea 

The papers I have used are Tip Toe and A Magical Place.

As you can see there are several layers to each of the little flowers that create the Hydrangea.

Each of the flowers have been shaped before being added.

A little bit of sparkle has been added to the centre of each flower using Kindy Glitz
