MTCC #68

Hi there

Today I am sharing the card I made for challenge #68 at Make the Card Challenge

The theme is winter.

I don't usually use snowflakes on my Christmas cards because we don't have snow here in Australia at Christmas time but I have used them this time to fit in with the theme.

The snowflakes, from Kaisercraft's Doodled Christmas stamp set, 

are heat embossed using Versafine Ink and 

Super Fine Silver and Gold embossing powders.

The patterned papers are from Kaisercraft's "Sparkle" paper range

Concertina Pocket for Cinderella Journal

 Good morning

Today I am sharing a pocket I made for my Little Golden Book - Cinderella Junk Journal

I have used "Honey Flower" paper from Kaisercraft's Peachy Collection

You can fit 6" x 4" photos in these pockets.

Christmas card with a gift card pocket

Good morning

Today I have a Christmas card using Denise Boddey Designs patterned papers.

The paper I have used is "Style" from the Elegance Collection 

I have also used a pack of her Christmas Toppers.

Hello hello

My card today was created for challenge #67 at Make the Card Challenge

The theme for this challenge is Thankful.

I created a shaker element and stamped, heat embossed and coloured the flowers for the card

Mystical Scrapbooks November Challenge

Good morning

Today I am sharing the layout I created for the November challenge at Mystical Scrapbooks

You will find the challenge here.

The challenge is take inspiration from the two moodboards they have supplied.

This is the moodboard I am using

I have used Mintay "Grandma's Attic" patterned paper

The featured product this month is stencils.

They are on sale, with 10% off, you will find them here.

I have used Distress Ink and Modelling Paste through Bee Arty "Abstract Daisy" 

stencil to create my background

The embellishments are from the "Grandma's Attic" Paper Die Cuts pack.

A little bit of lace and a chipboard butterfly add texture to my layout.

RAK Folio

 Good morning

MTCC #66

The challenge over at MTCC is to use this sketch

I decided to create three Christmas cards using the sketch but to try for three different looks

The first card is square and uses vintage Christmas papers

The second card is rectangular and is in bright traditional Christmas colours

and the third card is a mini slimline card in non traditional Christmas colours

Layout for October Cyber Crop at Mystical Scrapbooks

Good morning

Today's layout was created for the Cyber Crop at Mystical Scrapbooks this weekend.

The theme for the month is "All About Me"

This challenge requires you to create a layout about your favourite thing to do.

It must include a photo of you and chipboard.

My favourite thing to do is travel and the photos on this layout

were taken at Seal Bay on Kangaroo Island

I have used papers from 49 and Markets Curator Botanical 

and Stamperia Garden of Promise

The chipboard is from 

Memory Maze Junky Frames and Arrows

DT project for Denise Boddey Designs

Hi there

Today I am sharing two cards I created using the 

beautiful new paper range from Denise Boddey Designs.

It is called Cogs of Time and is a gorgeous steampunk range.

These cards came together so easily because the papers do all of the hard work for you.

The cards are 5.25" square.

The chipboard I have used is also from the Cogs of Time range and goes with everything.

Lots of fussy cutting the beautiful images to create the focal points for my cards.

I have also included some avocado dyed gauze (cheese cloth) 

and some Wink of Stella for a little sparkle.

I will add sentiments when I decide what I will use these cards for.

I think they are suitable for any occasion.

MTCC #65

Good morning

`I wanted to show you the card I created for MTCC #65

The theme is Halloween but as I don't celebrate Halloween 

I decided to make a child's birthday card using Halloween colours

I have dry embossed and heat embossed on this card.

This is a very easy, eye catching card and you can see how 

quickly it came together in my video below.
