Tall Tags

 Hi there

Today I some tags to share with you.
The inspiration for these tags came from Roxy's Weekly Challenge 2023
#roxysweeklychallenge

I created a master board using an assortment of book pages to create the base of my tags.

The tags have been decorated with stamping, die cuts, fussy cut images and wax seals.

Each tag has a tab, and has been stitched around

You will see the full process in my video

CJJ 1 - Fold Over Pad

Just home from a week in Bali.
It was very relaxing but the humidity is not my friend.
I have a quick and easy little project to share with you today,
a journaling pad that hooks over a belly band.

I have used an assortment of papers in these pads.
Great for using up paper scraps and sooooo easy.

You can see how easily these cute little pads come together in this video.

Thanks for being here today

Pink Velum Flowers on a card

 Good morning

Today I have a card to share.

I wanted to use some velum as I have not played with it for a while and I love using it.

I used my scoreboard to create the stripes in the cardstock at the top of the card and
a 3D embossing folder to emboss the bottom cardstock panel.

The paper I used is from Uniquely Creative's Serendipity paper collection
There is a patterned paper mat to the whole front of the card
and a punched strip of patterned paper separating the two white cardstock panels.

The top cardstock panel is mounted on cardboard to add a little dimension.

I have stamped and heat embossed the flower onto some pale pink velum
using pale pink embossing powder

Once I had fussy cut the flowers I attached them to the front of the card
along with some die cut skeletal leaves and
a heat embossed sentiment

I had a flower and leaf left over so I attached them to the inside of the card for a little extra touch

You can watch this card come together in my video below.
You will see I create a couple of different options to embellish this card.

Denise Boddey Chipboard Shaker Tag

 Good morning

Today I am sharing a video showing how I have created a shaker tag.

I have used Denis Boddey Designs DB469 chipboard Flower Shaker Tag for this

I have also used Denise's patterned papers from the Elegance and Cogs in Time collections.

Having the tag elements already cut in chipboard made it very easy to
create this beautiful piece.

to embellish my tag.

Start to Finish Journal - Flip out double pocket

 Good morning

Today I am sharing an embellishment I have created to be attached to
a page in my journal

I have used the napkin covered paper I created in this video to decorate the pockets.

The base of this embellishment is two envelopes.
The kraft envelopes I have used are 7 1/4" x 4 3/4".

Inspiration for this embellishment came from Wendy's Journal Adventure.

Floral Circle Card

Good morning

Today I am sharing a card.

I saw a picture of a similar card on Pinterest and immediately wanted to make one.

This card is very simple to create even though it is quite striking.
A similar card can also be made using an easel card base.

All of the details showing how I created this card and the products used are in my YouTube video

Junk Journal Start to Finish - Assembling and attaching signatures.

Good morning

The next stage in our Start to Finish Junk Journal,
now that our cover is complete, is to assemble and attach our signatures.

I am having two signatures in my journal with 13 papers in each signature
which gives me 52 pages to write on.

I have a mixture of avocado dyed paper, doilies and envelopes.
Tea dyed paper, envelopes, tracing paper, velum and acetate in my signatures.

I have machine stitched around each page.

I am using a three hole pamphlet stitch to secure the signatures to the cover.

You will see my full process in this video
