Two Christmas cards using Denise Boddey papers and die.

 Good morning

I have two Christmas cards to share with you today.

They are different styles but both use the same Poinsettia die 

from Denise Boddey Designs

The first card has a see-through front panel with a filagree die cut fill in

I have also embossed the frame that sits on the front of the card

The Poinsettia is cut from pearlised gold cardstock

The second card uses paper's from Denise's latest release "Enchantment"

This is a more "Shabby chic" style card but once again the Poinsettia die 

works so well.

I have also use the Leaves die with the Poinsettia die

Two Acetate Fronted Christmas Cards

 Hi there

I have a couple of Christmas cards to share with you today.

I love using acetate on cards and these two cards both have acetate used 

as either the whole or part of the front panel

The papers I have used are from Denise Boddey's Enchantment paper collection

and the ute with the Christmas trees is from one of her Topper packs

Starting a Christmas Journal using Sunflowers And Dors A Right Vintage Christmas digital kit

 Good morning

I have started a Christmas journal using SunflowersAndDors "A Right Vintage Christmas" digital kit

The kit is gorgeous

The journal has two signatures of 8 A4 sheets

The cover has a deep red fabric on the outside and Calico on the inside

I have attached the cover fabrics using double sided iron-on interfacing.

Creating and decorating two paper bags

 Good morning

Today I have a couple of journal embellishments to share with you

I have used a couple of digital bits from Sue at Paper Inspirations to create these bags

The kits I have used are Vintage Hues of Blue and Vintage Ephemera Kit #1

I use the method shown by Racheal at Roxy Creations to make the bags.

Cascading Christmas Cards

Good morning

In today's post I share two cascading Christmas cards.

Each is a different size and a different style

I have created one traditional style and one a little more modern.

I have used Kaisercraft's St Nicholas Collection for one card 

and Uniquely Creative's Serendipity Collection for the other.

4 Christmas Cards using a stencil and assorted pastes

 Good morning

Today I have 4 Christmas cards to share with you.

I have used the same card bases and the same stencil for each card.

I have used an assortment of pastes for different looks

I have used Impasto Paste, Modelling (Texture) Paste and Glass Bead Gel

This fist card has Impasto Paste, which dries clear, covered with glitter

This card has glass bead gel through the stencil. 

This gives a muted, textured design.

For this card I used Modelling Paste and sprayed it with a gold Glimmermist.

This technique did not work so well so I had to cut the tree out and add it to another card base.

And our last card is Modelling Paste with no added colour.

A great contrast with lots of texture.
