Fold Over Pocket for Cinderella Journal

Good morning

I have the final embellishment for my Cinderella Little Golden Book Journal to share with you today.

It is a fold over pocket, one sheet of 12" sheet of scrapbooking paper makes two double pockets.

They are very easy to make.

Inspiration from Sue Harbort at Paper Inspirations.

So as you can see, each pocket folds around your page and can be attached horizontally or vertically.

You will find all of the detail in my video below

Today I am sharing the video that shows how I
created these eleven pages for Charli's 2022 album.
There are thirty pages in total in her album this year.

I have just got the covers to do now to complete the project.

I have used Denise Boddey Designs patterned papers throughout this book.

Scrapbooking Layout

Hi there,

Today I'm sharing a layout I created using
Mintay's Grandma's Attic paper range.

I have not added the photo as yet because I don't have it yet.

To create the hearts on the background I used
Deco Transfer Gel Duo and Gold Gilding Flakes

I have also used embellishments from the same range on the layout.

Here is my process video if you would like to watch it.

Thanks for spending part of your day here with me today

Scrapbooking Layout

Good morning

Today I am sharing a layout I created for an album I am giving my Mum for her 90th birthday

This photo is of my Dad who die many years ago

I have added lots of mixed media to the background of this layout.

I used Deco Transfer Gel Duo through a stencil randomly on the
Uniquely Creative patterned paper I am using for the background.
Once this was dry I applied Silver Gilding Flakes on top of the Gel.

Next I added random stamping with Kaisercraft "Arty" stamp and Versafine Onyx Black ink

I have painted chipboard with acrylic paint and stamped
on it using the same stamp and ink as on the background

You will find the process and all of the details in my video

Christmas Cards

Hello hello

Today I am sharing the last of this year's Christmas cards
All of them have gold on them in an assortment of ways.

This one uses Vicki Boutin's Creative FX Gold Glaze through a stencil

Here I have die cut gold glitter card to create my focal points

And this card uses gold mire card for the die cut baubles
and the border around the embossed back panel

I made three of each style, each one slightly different.

You will find all of the details over on my YouTube channel

Three pages for Charli's ring bound album

Good morning

Today I am sharing three pages I created for my Grand Daughter's 2022 album.
I am using a Uniquely Creative ring bound album for this.

I am using Denise Boddey Designs papers throughout this album

The first page base is velum, I have added a pocket, a piece of chipboard,
some fussy cut leaves and a die cut bow.

The back of the velum page is quite simple.
One 6" x 4" photo, some fussy cut elements and a stamped, heat embossed flower.

Next page is a pocket page
I have trimmed four panel to fit into the pockets.
I had a couple of small photos that I matted with a thin black border before adding them to the pockets.
A strip of patterned paper was added to the centre section of the pocket page where I added my title and a die cut flower to embellish

The back of the pocket page was treated the same

The next page is a flip out page with a pocket on the front.
I used white cardstock to construct the page and pocket and then decorated with patterned paper
and fussy cut elements.
The title was die cut from black card stock and all of the photos are matted on black cardstock.

Here is my process video
I hope you enjoy watching it.

December challenge at Mystical Scrapbooks

Good morning

Today I am sharing my layout for the December challenge at Mystical Scrapbooks.

There are two challenges and one of them is to use this sketch
and at least two different types of bling.
The sketch is from Sketches in Thyme from 2015

Here is my layout

You can see I have made a couple of changes to the sketch to suit my photo.

I have used the beautiful papers and paper cuts from Mintay's Grandma's Attic collection.
All of the papers have had the edges distressed and inked.

For my sparkle I have used Vicki Boutin's CreativeFX Gold Glaze to create splatters on the background,
Dress My Craft Sparkling Dust on my chipboard pennants and
28 Lilac Lane Golden Premium Sequins added randomly on the patterned papers.

I have put Modelling Paste through a stencil and drawn a black border around my white cardstock background to add interest.

My title is die cut from black cardstock and given a coat of Glossy Accents to give it a beautiful shine.

I have a process video showing how this layout came together.
I hope you enjoy watching it.

Pop over to Mystical Scrapbooks and check out the other challenge.
Lots of fun and prizes to be had
