Bird Crazy stamp with water colour pencils

Just a quick little post today to share these soon cute birds. I used the Tim Holtz Bird Crazy stamp with Momento Black ink and then I coloured them with my new Inktence water colour pencils

I am going to cut these out with the matching die when it comes in (it's on order) and use them to make cards with. There are 6 birds in the set and I love them all...so quirky.

Anyway that's it for today
Till next time

MBA Layout

I have a layout to share today. This layout is using a photo from my Cindy's Masters Graduation Ceremony. We are very proud of her achieving her MBA in less that 3 years while working full time. A very dedicated effort on her behalf.

I have applied some Iridescent texture paste, GlimmerMist and stamping to the background patterned paper. A couple of the patterned papers have been embossed using my Big Shot. I also embossed a piece of acetate to see how that would work and it worked just fine. You can hardly see it of course but it does add some dimension "in the flesh". The chipboard has been painted with acrylic paint. The title was cut out on my Cricut and then covered with Dimensional Magic for some more dimension. A couple of bits of Washi tape and it is done.

Not so Mini Album

Warning: Very picture heavy post

I know it has been a long time between posts but I seem to have been busy with "things" and my interest in scrapbooking and card making has been a little on the low side. I have been spending a lot of time working out what sort of planner I want to use and I have still not found the "one " for me so it is still a work in progress.

My niece had an engagement party on the 25th July which actually tuned out to be a wedding. I made this album for her using a pattern I bought from Laura Dennison. I have used the Mix and Match collection from Kaisercraft for this album because the invitations were on Kraft cardstock with black writing.

That is overload enough for this post.
Will be back in a few days with a layout I have just finished.

Till next time
