Two Christmas cards using scraps.

Good morning

Today I am sharing two Christmas cards I created

The first card uses scraps cut into strips to form a Christmas tree.
This is layered onto a piece of patterned paper and a piece of gold Mirri card.
The star and the base of the tree are also Mirri card.

For the second card I have die cut a bauble from some patterned paper
and used that to create a shaker element for my card front

The shaker is filled with multi coloured sequins.
I have used a fine black pen to draw a scribbly border
around the edge of the patterned paper panel and the bauble.

Here is my process video.
I hope you enjoy watching it.

Thank you for being here with me today

Embellishment Folder

Good morning

Today I am sharing a folder I created using four plastic snap close document wallets.

I am going to use this to keep small embellishments in
The fact that the pockets are clear helps me identify what is in the pocket
without having to pull everything out.

I have used Denise Boddey Design papers and a piece of sari silk to create the folder

Here is my process video.
Hope you enjoy watching it.

Thank you for spending part of your day here with me today
Until next time

Christmas cards using Denise Boddey Elegance collection papers

Good morning

Today I have got two Christmas cards to share with you,
using Glory patterned papers from the Elegance Collection by Denise Boddey.

They are not traditional Christmas colours but I think they
work well for Christmas cards.

They are both fun fold cards.
The first is a mixture of an easel and stepper card and the second one is a gatefold card.

Full instructions for creating these cards can be found on my YouTube channel and I will put a
link to the video at the end of this post.

A fussy cut image from the Christmas card topper
pack embellishes the gatefold card. Such a cute image
The card toppers come in a pack of three A4 sheets with lots of images for you to fussy cut.

I have used a Poinsettia die to create the white flowers on the first card
I have added a coat of Wink of Stella Clear and a Champagne gem
to the centres of the Poinsettia for a bit of sparkle

Both of the cards are 5 1/4" square

MTCC #68

Hi there

Today I am sharing the card I made for challenge #68 at Make the Card Challenge
The theme is winter.

I don't usually use snowflakes on my Christmas cards because we don't have snow here in Australia at Christmas time but I have used them this time to fit in with the theme.

The snowflakes, from Kaisercraft's Doodled Christmas stamp set,
are heat embossed using Versafine Ink and
Super Fine Silver and Gold embossing powders.

The patterned papers are from Kaisercraft's "Sparkle" paper range

You can see this card come together in my video
